Regularly when we renovate flat we keep on asking similar old question – should I paint those walls or wallpaper them? I read lots of articles on that issue. I spoke to people who love wallpaper. But I also talked with colleagues who are genuinely big fans of paint. The conclusion may be - there is no 1 good answer. Both solutions are suitable for a certain apartments. To pick the option that is best for you and your wall, you should consider a few issues.
I am going to introduce them briefly in this article. First of all, you should see (if you have not earlier done it) what is the state of the wall. If this wall is uneven or cracked, the paint will not manage to camouflage these shortcomings. Thus, the paint on the wall would look just ugly. Using thick wallpaper (additional info) would be much better and more effective answer in this case. Second, you should keep in mind the future changes in the design. Changing the color of paint will be easier to do. In the case of better paint, you don’t even need to wipe the previous color – it would be enough to paint wall with the new color. So, if you want to change color of the walls often, painting seems to be more beneficial for you. You should also answer the question, what kind of pattern you want to have on your wall. If you prefer simple colors or simple patterns, then you could use either paint or wallpaper - . If you would like to have on the wall a pic with a big, complex pattern, the wallpaper (move me to the site) would be more appropriate. If you are real traveler, possibly you would enjoy map mural.

If your son is a football fan, he would obviously like to see stadium wallpaper. However, the official office will probably look better with simple patterns. Other essential factor is price of paint and wallpaper. Nonetheless, in this case it is almost impossible to generalize, since prices vary and strongly depend on the particular type of wallpaper or paint. The best option to check this is to compare different products from a price range that you are interested in. To sum up, the choice between paint and wallpaper hugely depends on the state of your walls, your preferences, the type of space but also on the financial resources you plan to spend on this.
